Born with an entrepreneurial spirit, Brandon Wong founded his first company in college with his future wife, Katrina Santos. They chose wedding photography because it was interesting and promptly became a success. The jet-setters photographed weddings in Australia, Mexico, Singapore, Canada, and across the United States. After graduating, they projected six figures in profits. They turned down their first offer to buy a homeless man a meal and instead spent their life savings on an automated photographer, a photobooth. As service-based company owners, it was difficult for them to grow. Before this system, their most significant loss was $800. Through automation, the device could save more memories and make them a bigger margin of profit than they could with a traditional service model. They quickly realized that this product could help other photographers worldwide. So, the couple invested their life savings to attend WPPI, which is the world's largest wedding photography convention.
