I had a bad experience with one of the attorneys I talked to! I called Mockensturm, Ltd. looking for free legal advice for estate. I called Mark Mockensturm, Ltd. While the call was on hold, I left a voice message covering the estate. The secretary called my phone, and I explained I had a question about taxes. The secretary went on to explain that all lawyers charge for their time. I said I understand but had never needed a lawyer before and had a question. The secretary then told me "we charge $200 for even your simple questions; we paid for education for the attorneys and the secretaries." Does not make me feel good, so not recommending this lawyer to anyone who can't give a simple yes or no answer without trying to get money upfront. The biggest problem with people today is their greed. I called the next attorney's office, left a message, and they called me the next day with no problems.
