Linda Howell and Ken Howell established the Howell Gallery in 1991. In 1991, Linda and Ken Howell established the Howell Gallery. But, even in the 1970s, Ken was an architect while Linda is an interior designer. They saw an increase in artistic talent from Oklahoma. Linda and Ken co-hosted an art exhibition to support the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma, in collaboration with the Wally Findlay Gallery of Chicago in the late 70s and early 80s. The seed was planted by this early exposure to art. The community's feedback was so positive that the couple decided to open The Howell Gallery. Linda and Ken were both in the design industry, so they had the opportunity to show their clients the incredible talent in Oklahoma. Both corporate and individual collectors can get assistance from the Howell Gallery staff in the purchase, placement, lighting, and maintenance of artwork.
