Susan's childhood exploration of art led her to study art history at university. Her creative curiosity grew, and she gained forty years of experience leading non-profit organizations that promote creativity, support cultural growth, and encourage community development. Susan led the Kirkpatrick Foundation for two decades and spearheaded numerous successful collaborative projects that bettered Oklahoma's culture and arts education. Her legacy includes Creative Oklahoma, which she founded and managed. Susan has established a highly-successful organization that seeks to increase quality of life and economic health by fostering creativity, innovation, in industry, education, and culture. Susan developed strategies for societal change and founded a hugely popular networking and educational forum that welcomed all interested parties.
