Dr. Baird was born in Hawaii and raised there. She got a medical degree from the University of Hawaii in 1990. She completed an internship and later did a residency at University of Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland Oregon, in Dermatology in 1994 at the University of Pittsburgh. In 1994, she began practicing dermatology at Peace Health Medical Group, and in 2004 she opened her own dermatology clinic.
