Mayo Clinic awarded her an M.D. degree. Dr. Takahashi is a distinguished double board-certified physician in dermatology as well as Mohs Micrographic Surgery. She took her residency in dermatology at UCLA and fellowship (with Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, and Laser surgery) after completion of her M.D. Completing her M.D. Over 15 years ago with a special emphasis on Mohs surgery, Dr. Takahashi's main interests are Mohs surgery and skin cancer prevention. Oregon Dermatology's staff also values the role of community health organizations. Dr. Takahashi serves as a member of the Lane County Medical Society board of directors and the American Academy of Dermatology. She has also worked with the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She feels privileged to be with her patients and enjoys every day of work. Every patient's health is our top priority, and we are honored to be part of it. Dr. Takahashi enjoys reading fiction, playing the piano, and spending time with her family in the outdoors.
