WEXLER GALLERY Lewis Wexler: Wexler Gallery Owner Lewis began his career at Christie's in New York City in the late 1980s, going on to become assistant vice president of 20th century decorative arts, before joining Madison Avenue gallery's French Art Deco dealer Anthony Delorenzo after his time at Christie's. He has lectured widely in the US, including at The Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery, The Furniture Society Conference, and UBS' Annual Global Media & Communications Conference. Lewis has been featured in many national magazines, and he was on the October 2005 cover of Art & Antiques. Lewis is committed to promoting fine art and craft and challenging perceived boundaries between Art, Craft, and Design. He has served on the jury for the selection for major exhibitions in the US. Sherri Apter Wexler: Wexler Gallery Owner Sherri started working in galleries before transitioning to Christie's auction house in New York. She worked at Christie's cataloguing Modern, Latin American, and Contemporary prints. Sherri then turned her attention to professional work in the film and video production field. She is an award-winning director/producer of video and has directed content for HBO, Comcast, and Showtime, among others. She decided to return to her roots in the art world and continues to collaborate with a wide range of makers and creative thinkers at Wexler Gallery, where she works tirelessly to expose their visions to an even wider audience. Sherri graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington University, St. Louis.
