Dr. Suzan Obagi

Dr. Suzan Obagi is a board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon. She earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her internship at the University of California Irvine. Dr. Obagi finished her dermatology residency in Pittsburgh and appears on the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Currently, she is a professor of dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and an assistant professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Moreover, she is the director of UPMC Cosmetic Surgery & Skin Health Centers. The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery approved Dr. Obagi's cosmetic surgery fellowship at Pitt. However, skincare is much more than just beauty for Dr. Obagi. Her true calling is to treat patients with persistent skin conditions, skin cancer, and aging skin. Her lifelong motto has been to "look your best at every age". Dr. Obagi is committed to teaching medical students, residents and fellows worldwide about cosmetic surgery and lasers. She is a published author in many peer-reviewed journals and has written many textbook chapters on dermatologic surgery, cosmetic and plastic surgery. She has also served as the president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and as the vice president of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.
