Mary Ann & Co Dance Studio

Mary Ann Wolfe Barrington, a former professional dancer, and singer, founded Mary Ann & Co Dance Studio. Mary Ann's teaching philosophy fosters a fun, happy learning environment where dancers can express themselves, be creative, and learn to act, sing, and dance. She strongly emphasizes discipline, teaching students to apply performance discipline to their daily lives, boosting their self-esteem. The dance world had changed a lot in 25 years. MAC Dance Studio tries to keep up with the times by creating new material and routines. There are two shows every season at MAC Dance Studio, which is in December and June. The Studio is open for parties or nursing home entertainment. Join us and have some fun, as there are classes for all ages and abilities. Mary Ann also founded and runs Mary Ann & Co Dance and Music Studio. Mary Ann has been performing professionally for over 25 years as a dancer and choreographer. She choreographed for Don Brockett Productions and the Pittsburgh Steelerettes. Mary Ann has worked for many companies in the U.S. and other countries, including commercials, shows, and industrials. Additionally, Mary Ann danced for Civic Light Opera, Odd-Chair Playhouse, Ben Gross Dinner Theater, Children's Television "Cater-Cousins," a tour that included Boston and off-Broadway, and much more. Mary Ann began dancing as a child with Nita. She received her education in ballet, tap, and jazz at Point Park College with Charlotte Mady, Carol Knight, and the Mario Melodia Performing Arts Center.
