Thank You I am a landlord of several properties and hired Nelson for a tenant eviction. It was not a smooth interaction. I would not recommend using him because his legal advice is not up to date and current. I noticed other reviewers said that his main concern was being paid upfront and on the spot, I can confirm this. Basically, he does not accept checks but only Zelle and I assume cash. He was clear he needed to be paid in full before he would start work for me. I do acknowledge that once he received his money he did serve the tenant right away. However, after this initial action it’s like he forgot who I was. When nothing further happened for weeks, I called him and he did not remember the case and I had to remind him. It finally took 6 weeks to get a court date on this time sensitive matter. The tenant has then been ordered to leave the property on a certain date and it was confirmed by Nelson that this date is non-negotiable. Surprisingly, the tenant managed to get an extension without Nelson knowing about it. He later admitted that there is a new law out that allows the tenant to get a stay and that he was not aware of this new law. So I took matters into my own hands. Several interventions from my side with the tenant I finally got the squatter out. However, not without paying additional costs for a moving company. I was promised by Nelson that we could negotiate for a partial reimbursement for the poor representation after the case is settled. When I called him he did not want to honor his word by talking about a financial contribution for my additional cost. I had to laugh when he told me he did a great job in this case. Word to the wise, do not use his services for anything you are not treated with importance and in my case he is not up on the new laws. I will never use him again for any other legal services and suggest you don’t either. My wife and I had Nelson do a real estate closing for us , Nelson is very efficient and we could not of felt more comfortable with how he handled it. We felt like there were no stones left unturned. We highly recommend Nelson, will definitely use him again. Nelson was very helpful on my case. I was out of state on vacation and he helped me speed up the process on my tenant eviction issue.
