Once upon a time, The Nitro Bar was a humble coffee cart built by Audrey Finocchiaro, Sam Lancaster, and their team, huddled in the basement of Audrey's parents' house. However, these carts required wheels during winter. They then started a hunt for more definitive locations to establish nitro. They made partnerships with many local breweries and restaurants to get their cold brew nitro on tabs, and after a short while, over fifty local stores carried their magic beans juice over that spring. Their story is only at the beginning. In the winter of 2018, they opened their first brick-and-mortar location at Dash Bicycle Shop in West End Providence, Rhode Island. At just 600-square feet, this space would soon be filled with people lining up to enjoy their breakfast sandwiches and craft lattes. With three brick-and-mortar locations, an amazing team of over 60 team members, and more than 70 tap locations, Nitro has become an institution in Rhode Island. However, all of this could not have been possible without a community that always drives The Nitro Bar's mission (The Nitro Bar, 2022).

Nitro Bar reviews are mostly positive, with several praising the cold brew for its richness, suggesting chocolate notes and creamy mouthfeel reminiscent of milk. Some believe the coffee flavor is powerful and the cold brew perfect. Even the mocha oat latte remains consistent, not excessively sweet. Food is not only creative but excellent, with unique items like the breakfast sandwiches. Service is consistently friendly, with compressed prices and lovely staff. The spot also has ample seating, both indoors and outdoors, and the place is clean and ideal for relaxing. The only drawback is that the restaurant moved to a take-out format due to Covid, which many miss, mainly because the new format doesn't feel as homey. Nonetheless, the quality remains top-notch and worth returning to.
