The path leads to where you want. I became a woman in 1983. Two months before my 16th birthday, I gave birth to my son, and two weeks before my 18th birthday, I had my daughter. The beginning was hard. I sometimes think the kids learned as much from my techniques. The family inspiration continues to inspire us to go above and beyond. We had to have multiple jobs to support ourselves, and I learned from other parents. It has been a unique experience for me. It was a lesson in love and the road. I met my husband and married him in 1989. I became an EMT in the early 80s. I used this course on compliance and medical code to learn. Both at MUSC and in private practice, I worked with many physicians. I have a passion for medicine. The work wore me down. The insurance rules and bureaucracy were irksome. This means patients get limited time with caregivers and physicians. I desired to take care of more people myself. I received my esthetics license in 2009. On starting my new career, I accepted a job with a major brand where I worked as a management and a sales consultant. I learned about chemical peeling, makeup, and product formulas. I grew a new territory for the company to its top five in 4 years. After promotion to manage the East Coast, it was a whirlwind. My work and trips became overwhelming. It was an excellent time. My breast cancer diagnosis started in 2013. I had to choose the right treatment for me and my family. We chose a super aggressive surgical method and then a natural reconstruction. I was in recovery for over a year after many surgeries. My family came together to care for me, and I began to heal. Cancer has its way of telling you if you are in the right path. It showed me what is important and what isn't. Second chances cannot be wasted. I made better choices. My intuition led me to the right standards Everything Esthetic was the right time to leave a high-paying job and busy schedule. There, I met formulators, doctors, and nurses. Some of the skin-care professionals I met were exceptional. I was taught microneedling and advanced chemical peels and photon therapy. I grew expertise in growth factors and PRP, as well as the formulation of products. I completed a cancer esthetics course. It was thrilling. Spending more time with the body and patients was my priority. I learned lessons from life and the people I met. Eventually, I saw the need to be less on the road. It was logical to find a training space and allow professionals to test multiple therapies simultaneously. Combining factors would boost practice.
