We looked for a good dentist that would be available to care for our family given all of our crazy work schedules and activities for the last 3 years. To no avail, until we came across Doc Forbes and his amazing Dental Healthcare Crew. No more bite down on this hard plastic x-ray photo film clip 10 times - you know the one that gouges into your jaw bones and has you wondering if you're in a torcher chamber; no more hurry up and wait; instead, a high-tech carousel x-ray imaging unit that completes the entire process in seconds - attentive reception and technicians that meaningfully process and purposefully prepare and assist throughout the entire examination from sign-in to care plan preparation provided before you walk out the door. In the end, you leave with a detailed assessment and copy of the dental x-ray imagery so you know exactly what is required to ensure meaningful care. I was so amazed by their performance that the following day I recommended a co-worker to go to Total Dental Care of South Carolina for an abscessed tooth that had been bothering him for years! Instead of finding a good dentist, we found the amazing crew at Total Dental Care of South Carolina! Old School ethics and experience combined with state-of-the-art equipment: an unbeatable combination of excellence in both practice and application. Excellent service!!!!9. Best dental office I’ve ever been today!!! Dr. Forbes and his staff are all wonderful and compassionate.10. Don’t go there for a deep cleaning, they did it without using anesthetic or put me to sleep, it feels like regular cleaning, but charge me deep clean price! Later I went to gum dentist, he said I have to do deep clean again! I wasted approximately $1400 here, then had to pay again to do it with another dentist. Also this dentist refilled my 2 teeth that I already had filled, I don’t know why?? And one of them is still hurting because digging is deep close to nerve. When I told him, he said I need root canal! Also he grinded my front teeth into a jagged shape and short after he put crown on the tooth next to, I don’t know why?? So I have to asked the front desk, she thinks I have too much questions.11. I want to say that Amy, Dana, and Dr. Forbes made this a really excellent experience. From when I arrived, to when I left, I felt welcomed and comfortable. I’m 25 and I have severe anxiety; this was my first dentist visit in a long time, but the Total Dental Care team went above and beyond to tell me exactly what I needed to know (and what I needed to hear) in a pleasant, yet straightforward manner and without any judgement! 10/10 Experience12.
