Armored Trucking Academy LLC

I just passed my CDL today after graduating from Armored Trucking last week. I was a little over 3 months into a 4 month CDL school in Connecticut before a family medical emergency forced me to come to Tennessee weeks before my graduation. I was at first skeptical about how a school could teach in 1 month, the skills that my former school took 4 months to teach. My first day at Armored Trucking made me a believer. The difference is the teachers. The teachers at armored take pride in there teaching skills and have a friendly rivalry amongst themselves to be the best teacher. This comes from the owner Chris. His heart is really into what he does. He hand picks and trains his teachers. They teach you how to analyze the situation and "fix" the problem. If you are in a 90 degree alley dock and are tight on the inside as opposed to the outside cone, they teach you what to do. The same methodical approach and attention to detail goes into teaching you pretrip inspection and road skills. I went to test today with complete confidence that I would pass. There commitment to my success did not end today with me getting my CDL. I'm going back next week and they are going to help me with job placement because they genuinely want to see me do good and it shows in everything they do. This school is top notch and I would 100% recommend it to anyone who want's to learn trucking skills and get there CDL.
