Documentation Needed for Enrollment If you are accepted into the school, you must provide proof that you have legally completed the equivalent of the 10th grade. Record your schooling done as a child to show proof. Age Requirement If you have met the education requirements, age is no barrier to acceptance. To be eligible for the State Board Examination and for the Instructor Exam, one must be 17 years of age. Your school must keep proof of your age. A copy of your driver’s license and a birth certificate are acceptable proof. Approval from the School The school must approve the student’s schedule to provide for consistency. Students may not take more than 8 hours per day and no more than 40 hours each week in credit hours.
