By the end of the day a bruise had formed and had pain that was so intense I could not open my mouth or touch my cheek. The next morning I looked like I had been punched in the jaw. I called their office and asked if I could stop by before work the next day to show Dr. Jackson and ask why this happened, as it had never happened before. I was told they would not see me without an appointment but could be seen at 10:30. I explained I could not be seen at 10:30 due to my demanding work schedule and asked if I could come sooner since I was in pain. I was told “I’m sorry, we can’t see you without an appt,”
I never agreed to the 10:30 appointment because it would be impossible for me to make. My husband called and was told I was scheduled for 10:30, but I did not show up. That was a lie. I have never returned to their office; however, I did receive a recorded message from Dr. Jackson after my husband called stating that she thought it was a complication from the shot. I received care from another provider who told me that Dr. Jackson had hit a blood vessel while injecting the numbing shot. I called the ADA and they gave me information to file a complaint with Tennessee Department of Dentistry. They reviewed photos and then stated, due to the significant swelling and bruising, I should have been treated as an emergency triage patient. I have had no contact from the Murfreesboro Family Dentistry office to check on me or let me know if they were at all concerned about me. 20 days have passed and today is the first day that I cannot see a bruise in my photo of my face.10. I scheduled my first appointment with MFD. I wanted an exam and cleaning. I was feeling a little apprehensive due to very bad experiences with other dentists. But my anxiety was unwarranted. The people are "Top-Notch"! Everyone who works there made me feel very comfortable- considering they were going to be in my mouth with power tools. The good Doctor evaluated my teeth- pointed out a couple of problems- gave me the options, and, two days later- I'm back getting a Crown. It was the best I've ever had with Dentist. Trust someone who is a coward- these are the people to trust with your teeth. Thanks11. The whole crew is #1! Dr. Jackson is the best!12. I called yesterday to get an appointment. I felt that one of my filling on my front tooth was loose. I am leaving for vacation soon; I did not want any issue while I was away! I reached out today to Dr. Jackson and got in quickly.
