ABF Freight Horrible service. They left my freezer at my garage door and didn't tell me after I waited all day. Delivery needed a signature, but they will lie that you signed even when you are not present. The personnel overseeing delivery is offensive. They should have zero stars. The customer service told my spouse they could bring the freezer into our garage but they didn't. This company is awful, and their customer service is disappointing. They provide a whole day for the delivery of your items. When the day finally comes, and you take a day off work, they cancel it and say that the delivery is delayed (Consumer Affairs). They then tell you to book another day. They moved my military stuff, and I had to take time off work to wait for the delivery. They arrived late and damaged some property. I have been calling to claim my reimbursement for six months now; each time I call the account department tells me that it is not in their system. Do not hire this company for military moves. If you are using this company for a PCS move, please DO NOT! First of all, they are late to drop off your container on the day you are scheduled to have it. Secondly, the provided me a broken rail for moving and almost tripped several times going up the ramp. Third, when I arrived to my location, I was notified that they used the wrong truck for the weight tickets and not I am having to fight to get the proper empty weight tickets for reimbursements. They owe me about $3500 on extra money. And lastly, they took my dolly off the truck and messed up the bulkheads inside the truck. If you end up PCSing or moving, use a different company or just rent a Penske or U-Haul. The headache is not worth it! Bad service, given a quote for 4 day service, 2 weeks later still haven’t received our goods the worst ever , don’t use this company. ABF Freight are good in customer service but they suck on pickup time and informing customers about their delay. I have used them about 6 times and they have been late or don't show to pickup on the requested date. They have the same driver doing delivery and pickup. Great overall experience! We moved from Florida to Tennessee using UPack ABF Freight. Everyone we spoke to and met was fantastic. The cost was thousands less than the other name brand companies. All of our property arrived without a scratch! I would highly recommend if you are needing to move a long distance. Tarence I had an awful experience with this company, and I feel compelled to share it. I asked to be called an hour ahead of time to my home. My request was obeyed, but I was given 4 minutes to get home, and I arrived late because I was grocery shopping with my kids. I asked them politely to wait for me. They left my freezer at the garage door and did not tell me anything only to find it in that spot. The guy who supervises delivery was so rude to me when I came to ask him to help me with the freezer. I cried, but he did not care. They also took my dolly off their truck and messed with the bulkheads inside the truck. They owe me a lot of money because this was an extra expense I did not plan for. I had moved to my new place and paid the money upfront. They did not care about my family as they said. They only wanted the money. ABF Freight is the worst.
