Appalachian Renewable Resources was founded by Scott Noethen in the early 2010s. Scott Noethen began Appalachian Renewable Resources in early 2010. His vision was to combine solar, hydro, and wind resources with sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective building methods. Freelance consulting was available to anyone intrigued by these ideas in their buildings. Scott's focus on education and certification is his ongoing primary focus. He has been involved in over 1MW solar installations and maintenance across Tennessee and Virginia. Appalachian Renewable Resources' energy audits and solar photovoltaic future are now the primary focus. Scott will continue to emphasize environmental stewardship, even as Appalachian Renewable Resources' reality today may not have been what he envisioned in the company's early years.
