Marich, Inc. was founded by Richard and Marissa, two professionals with over 70 years of expertise in custom residential and commercial properties design, drafting, and construction. The founders have worked in Central Texas, and Canberra, Australia, for extended experience times. Richard's mother raised him and his two brothers in an undergraduate school while undertaking the Master of Education program at the University of Texas in Central Texas. These professors and aunties stood for Richard's mother, and later he was raised by his grandfather, who was a general contractor. In 1905, Richard and his brothers started their careers at Austin, Texas, with his grandfather. He used to help his grandfather in selecting, mixing, and placing concrete for his foundation of the buildings, leaning, and finishing concrete. In this job, he learned a lot from his grandfather, which was larger than life in the building industry growing up, and is an important part of his life. After Richard’s grandfather died, he struggled with his brothers to make ends meet and was later absorbed to work for his uncle, who was a concrete contractor. Richard was encouraged to achieve his academic dream, where he applied for architectural school at the University of Texas. Marissa also worked as a designer and manager for custom residential projects for her uncle for 10 years. Richard achieved a professional architecture degree in 2002 from UT, where he was an honors student. He has designed over 1,000 projects in his career (Marich, Inc., 2022).
