Will never stay at an Urban Stay property again. First they sold the property I had rented and they offered an alternate property with much fewer bedrooms with no compensation, resulting in some of the family double bunking due to very awkward bed room arrangements. The communication was simply terrible. First tried their SMS texting, no responses to 5 issues I reported. Then via VRBO they said please communicate through both SMS and VRBO. Many of my messages were either ignored or only partially answered. The property was not clean nor is it safe. For example the gate entry to property B cannot be locked with many homeless people in the area including one sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the property. There were cigarette butts laying around and a huge amount of debris under the couches. There is a huge step down to go between building A and B resulting in many near falls until we temporarily moved the stairs to the hot tub over to the porch. There were insufficient towels for the number of people staying - supposedly one per bed, but that did not include the sofa beds. The standard for hotels and AirBnbs is two per person. However for *only& $42 you can rent an additional 10 towels! Never heard of this before. I received a message the day before we checked out saying we had to check out that morning otherwise we would be fined. I asked them to call me to discuss the various issues and they ignored the request. And the front door handle falls off with the slightest touch.

DO NOT GO THERE…worst experience ever. we feel harassed. First of all. The house smells of cockroaches, The Hot Tub was dirty full of leaves, There wasn't even salt in the kitchen (they regularly have). The place is in an area very close to Downtown, however it is a very ugly neighborhood and many hazy people walk around. Since the beginning the owners mention the neighbors and the excessive noise, they also threaten that the neighbors call the Police because they are very sensitive... we spent Christmas night there. (It's a date when everyone celebrates) My family wasn't even drinking alcohol or making any mess. We had dinner as a family, watched movies, and the next morning we received two messages regarding excessive noise. Which we never understood. So I apologized thinking that it was my children the night before watching TV with the sound system that the house provides, but about half an hour later I received another message and we were all sleeping. It was 7:30 in the morning and they woke us up with those messages, on December 25
