I reached out to Jackson Law Firm on my elderly mother-in-law's behalf, who is divorcing. During my first call with Leslie, the receptionist, I felt confident. She was both helpful and professional. I agreed to a call with Attorney Thomas Just for the next morning at 11:30 AM. I received an email verifying the scheduled call but nothing else, and I returned the client questionnaire by 7 AM that day.11:30 AM came and went, but I didn't hear from him. I sent a follow-up email at 11:37, and Thomas was still on another call. I was told he would call back—fair enough. But there was no call, so I emailed again at 12:40. That's three hours after we first scheduled. I expressed eagerness to proceed as my mother-in-law requires timely help. After receiving no response, my confidence began to wane. We did all they requested on time, so why couldn't they respect me? Problems happen, and that's okay. But the least I ask is for a follow-up. A firm that could not honor a scheduled appointment cannot be trusted with an elderly woman’s divorce. 4. Disappointing.
