I loved all types of art growing up and studied urban planning in college. Despite my interests, I changed to biology and earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. When people learn this, I usually get a puzzled expression and the question, “Why do you shoot weddings?” I think it's because I enjoy capturing people on one of their happiest days in life. All parts of weddings are my favorite; everything from the exquisite details to the authentic emotions. My desire is to connect with new people and I love my clients. I approach your wedding with a balanced blend of creative and journalistic styles. This allows me to record real moments while also crafting stylized details and fine art portraits.
