Craighead Green Gallery

Craighead Green Gallery is a Dallas Design District institution that features new and contemporary art from local and international artists. Kenneth Craighead and Steve Green founded the gallery in 1992. The two men bought the six-thousand-square-foot gallery space on Dragon Street and relocated to the quickly developing Design District in 2005. In 2021, William Bardin became the Gallery's assistant director. Craighead Green Gallery is a respected Texas gallery that is nationally known and respected. The gallery represents more than forty mid-career artists who work in a variety of mediums and styles. The Gallery focuses mainly on contemporary paintings, archival pigment prints, and sculpture. The New Texas Talent Exhibition is a long-awaited event that will allow Kenneth Craighead and Steve Green to continue to support emerging local artists. The two cofounders award a scholarship each year to Booker T. Washington's Dallas Arts Magnet High School graduating senior class. Edith Baker Scholarship Fund has partnered with them. The Gallery is a long-standing member of the Dallas Art Dealers Association. CADD Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas was also a founding member of the Gallery.
