Dallas Blends Barber Academy provides a private, post-secondary education. All students will be instructed in basic barbering. You may enroll in either a full-time or part-time study. The courses are: Theory/Hands-on Haircuts/Braiding/Barber Business Development. The sessions for the study give the students the opportunity to acquire the skills needed to build an attractive and sustainable business that fulfills the future needs of the industry. The students need to complete 900 hours to sit for the state board multiple-choice examination. The second test is hands-on. The students who pass both the state and hands-on exams will receive a Texas state barber certificate and license.
