About Hico Helium & Balloon Our family opened Follies and Favors, a party supplies retail shop in San Antonio TX, in 1984. We offered a selection of high-quality products, such as balloon entertainment and decorations. Local businesses and individuals began to request helium tanks, so we decided to open a wholesale balloon and helium company. Our initial Hico store opened in 1986, and we aimed to provide what current customers were losing as the world became more mechanical: high-quality items and exceptional assistance at a reasonable cost. Since then, fourteen Hicos have been established throughout the US, each based on these principles. Our main office in Dallas, TX, currently serves the DFW Metroplex. Hico Investments, Inc., a local company division, is in Dallas and offers franchise options for passionate entrepreneurs. Hico knows that clients have many options for advertising items.
