ABOUT Services Excellence Summary

Amy Bohn started her career as a massage therapist at a small spa in Plano Texas. Her cancer patient client inquired about the spa's products. Parabens, chemicals that cause cancer and are found in the environment, made the client’s oncologist suggest that she avoid them. When Amy researched, she found that many of the spa's products had parabens. We made a promise then. To provide a safe and healthy spa experience, we wanted to use only organic and pure products. We also wanted our spa to be good for the skin, the body, and the earth. Our mission was to make a genuinely organic spa, which only contains clean, organic ingredients. We stopped using any synthetic fragrances or colors in our products. Spa Habitat was born. We then found that our partners' "organic" products don't reveal or have toxins in their ingredients. We decided to make our line of organic products based on plant medicine. Amy worked with an herbalist, and an organic chemist for years to create Clovertree Apothecary. It is made by hand in Texas, and we exclusively use it in our spa treatments. Spa Habitat has since become a leader in organic spas. We offer a Farm to Spa experience(r), which includes relaxing massages and organic facials. Our organic body scrubs and wraps also have natural ingredients. Our organic services and practices have been recognized by D Magazine, Organic Spa Magazine, and USA Today. We hope you enjoy.
