My brother had a case and we've been waiting a whole year and then all the sudden he quits the job and my brother might be doing time due to the fact that he took so long to try to get the case solved at first I had hopes about my brother not going back to prison but now I don't know it's heartbreaking that this law firm you know what it's so long and then jumps off the case after us paying him for a whole year this is not fair to me or my brother but I wouldn't go through them ever again even if they open back up or whatever not because now I'm facing my brother might be doing time due to the fact that we paid this law firm a long time ago to retain and a whole year went by and nothing has been done and then you tell me you quit the case when there's nothing but a small thing where you have to go to see2. Do not ever make the mistake of hiring this man (Filemon) as an attorney for anything of serious importance to you, especially family law matters. This lawyer is the most incompetent lawyer I have ever know of. You're actually better off representing yourself in court than having a lawyer that actually seems to work more for the other side than his own paying clients. How this man has stayed in business as an attorney with his lazy, passive and non-competitive attitude is beyond me.3. Unresponsive and Unprofessional - Do not trust Ortiz and Ortiz: It's been weeks since I hired him. he said he'd make a phone call in my case I called him up on any update and it was like he forgot and called up right there and then. Why did he wait for me to push him to do his job? His secretary was rude and just kept on babbling like I was supposed to know what she was talking about. Laughed at me when I said I didn't want his service anymore and wanted to fire him. These people are professional talkers make them seem to you like they know what they say but no it's just techniques in language to fool you. This guy didn't move an inch from where we last left off he said he was gonna do.8. Great lawyer for serious representation: David is the most competent, fair and honest attorney in Del Rio, which I have known since he was a toddler, and his expertise and knowledge of trial law far exceeds what most clients expect! Well worth retaining if you need serious legal representation!
