TYJ PLUMBING OF EL PASO

My experience warrants me to warn others to be very cautious dealing with this company. I would recommend avoiding. Maybe for a clogged toilet or something simple but nothing more complicated than that. Do not pay up front. Called to install a tankless water heater on a Monday. Paid more for the labor than the unit. Paid 1350.00 (50.00 off for military) up front because I was told the job would be complete the same day. They arrived about 11 am. At 8pm they were still unable to complete and the unit was giving an error code stating that it was an installation error. I know this because the youtube video he was watching to learn how to install it said so. He swore it was a faulty unit. Uninstalled it to return the next day for a different unit. Left with no hot water. He returned the next day at 5pm because he had another job to collect money on and they already had mine. Showed up with the same unit and said it would cost me another 950.00 to complete installation. Told him I will just take the unit back. Goes to the truck to get the unit and tells his son on the way to the truck "thats his problem". When I asked him when my money would be returned I was told "not my problem." Yes, it was my fault for paying up front. I bought into the "Thank You Jesus" gimmick and trusted their word. Again my fault. Too naive to see someone using religion as bait. Now I'm out the money with nothing but the same "word" its coming back, no hot water with 4 kids and holidays coming up. I'd have said "Thank You Jesus" if I had gone with a different company. Only reason I'm wasting energy with a review is so that nobody else gets screwed by these guys.

Beware potential customers of this company. They like their money but don't like finishing the job once they have the money upfront. My husband paid $4,300.00 all the way over here from Wisconsin where we live, to help my mom and grandma who live in El Paso Texas with their plumbing issues. They sent out an invoice of all that was going to be done by them, and at first, they seemed consistent up until the finishing of the job. My mom and grandma are left with a bathroom sink that no longer runs water because of who knows what this company did to make it non operational, and they left exposed boards for flooring in the bathroom without replacing it with the vinyl flooring that my husband paid for. They do not commit to their word upon coming to finish the job, they don't return phone calls, they avoid the paying customer and all this has been a headache from this far. My grandmother deserves a functional bathroom and we deserve deliverance on completion of a job since we are the paying customer
