I want to express my gratitude for spending time to get to know a bit about me and how I arrived at this point of my professional career. I grew up in El Paso, Texas, and after graduating from Jefferson High School in 1988, I and my buddies opted to serve in the military. In contrast to most of my pals in the Army or Navy, I chose the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE. When I left and was later Honorably Discharged from the AIR FORCE, I moved back to El Paso and pursued a higher education. In 1994, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT EL PASO (UTEP).
