My mother spent her last days on earth at this place and I was bringing her home 1 day too late. Although the nursing staff was amazing, one of the techs literally pushed a gentleman down into a recliner the moment he stood up saying "sit down!" Had my mother not been the first thing on my mind and she needed something right then, I would have asked her why she did it, then promptly reported it. My mom has been gone 7 days and I will be calling this week. My mom was moved from ER to this facility which she shouldn't have been and she was deemed an inappropriate candidate at the end of her stay. More than once, I entered her room with her lunch/dinner still covered in plastic wrap, never opened. She could not eat on her own. There was a CNA nurse, and an overnight nurse who were great. Kind and caring. Mom lost the ability to eat and drink so I was bringing her home in two days. I got a call the night she died and was left a message that she passed away. She was kind and caring. She hugged me and stated she noticed her skin began to mottle. I said, oh gosh I wish you would have called me then, she wouldn't have died alone. But I was grateful and she hugged me and that was kind. She had all kinds of dotted looking bruises that were not there when I visited her Monday. She died Tuesday morning. So, I can't say what they were, but they looked like fingerprints. Again, I cannot say what they were. Just what they looked like. They at least put a camera in her room to see her at night as she was at the end of a hallway. Another man in a bed lowered to the ground called out for someone twice when I was visiting mom. I let the staff know. The second time he did it and I let staff know "oh he does that all of the time." Another woman visiting her dad inquiring about some flowers or a plant that was shown delivered was told it was the weekend and they couldn't say what was happening with them, just that there wasn't up front staff, so they couldn't tell her. Just not a place that I recommend for your loved ones.
