They emigrated, bringing their culture. The Czechs opened Sokols in every part of the USA because they were used to having Sokols due to their strong tradition of sound body, sound mind, and sound intellect. In line with their Czech tradition, they host their annual SLETS. Sokol Fort Worth participates in these events. All Sokol Fort Worth coaches are Professional members of USA Gymnastics. Furthermore, all coaches have Safety Certification, CPR/First Aid, Sexual Abuse Awareness, and regular background checks. Sokol Fort Worth coaches must also take continuing education courses. Sokol Fort Worth gymnastics compete in USA Gymnastics sanctioned competitions. Pauline Milan (General Manager) has a rich competitive history including the Olympics and world championships.
