ISR was established in 1966, with more than 45 years of experience and a reputable Self-Rescue (r) program. More than 8 million lessons have been delivered safely and effectively. ISR employs a multi-layered strategy to prevent drowning, recognizing that fences, supervision, and alarms are critical components. Over 4,000 deaths from drowning occur each year. Traditional mutual and defense mechanisms are insufficient. ISR believes that the child is an essential component of drowning prevention and has collected over 300,000. ISR alumni and more than 800 documented survival stories show that children can save themselves. ISR survival swimming lessons are for infants aged 6 months to 6 years and are the most reliable and efficient providers globally.
