TCU - Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences

Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences previously named TCU. The institution was renamed in Harris College in 2005 to recognise the historical connection of Dr Harris to the college. The Harris Trust still provides an annual financial support that allows some students in the TCU Nursing. The educational units of Harris College are the TCU Nursing (the School of Nurse Anesthesia), the Davies School of Communication Sciences & Disorders (the Department of Kinesiology), and the School of Social Work (the Department of Social Work). Harris College is dedicated to improving global health by offering equitable and accessible education and scholarship that are inclusive, affordable, and innovative. The flexible curriculum from faculty that responds to local and international communities and the students prepare for such professional positions as teaching or generalist clinical practice. The faculty in Harris College continuously offer exceptional education from a standpoint of high standards. This prepares students to come up with a society that benefits the entire world.
