About Dr. Randhawa Twenty years ago, Niti Randhawa, MD, began practicing medicine. In Plano, Texas, she attended Plano Senior High School and completed pre-medical training at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She studied biology at Baylor and then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she earned a Doctor of Medicine in 1996. John Peter Smith Hospital Fort Worth, where she received her family medicine residency in 1999, is an excellent place to start. Dr. Randhawa's interest in medicine came at an early age, and she discovered her love for helping others. She always balanced traditional allopathic medicine with proven complementary and alternative healing methods. She is still studying this aspect of medicine, which is exceedingly enlightening and rewarding. She has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years and continues to study new and exciting aspects of medicine. As she witnessed the changes in people as they appeared younger after aesthetic procedures, she grew increasingly interested in aesthetics as well. She became certified in Botox injections and fillers in 2008. What she discovered as she studied integrated medicine and pursued it with vigor was that empowerment is the key to well-being and the secret to living a balanced, optimal life. Wellness=A Balanced Life Dr. Randhawa believes that wellness entails more than just eating balanced meals and exercising. It also involves balancing body, mind, and spirit in order to be empowered. Helping clients create the lives they want and deserve is her goal and passion. She lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with her husband, who was in the US Navy, from 2008 until she returned to North Dallas. Dr. Randhawa continues her work at Avanti Skin Center and Spa, which she has been doing since 2008 (more than 12 years). Being a mother, wife, and owner of a 200-pound Great Dane has been fun, and she also enjoys traveling, playing the piano, exercising, and learning.
