Renshaw & Ferguson LLP Feedback Summary: Many times more than I can count, my calls to this office were solely for information, with a promise I would get a call or email follow up to my questions. I never had a single follow up call. I was only able to get someone to call me back after I scheduled an appointment until which I was called about 6 hours earlier than the appointment time. I stopped by this office the Wednesday after thanksgiving at 10:30 am, the doors were locked and phones were off. I have called this office MANY times during business hours and the phone is off. When I scheduled an appointment with Ms. Ferguson directly to discuss the case and the issues with this office, we were in a conference room actively discussing a criminal case and reviewing evidence, and the DOOR WAS WIDE OPEN THE ENTIRE TIME!! Everyone in the lobby could hear what was being discussed pertaining to a case, there was zero account for privacy and zero professionalism!! I Would not suggest this law office to a single person. Feedback1: Miss Ferguson was my attorney for my child custody case. It is hard to find words strong enough to applaud her work. After years of custody court and working with different attorneys, Miss Ferguson took me on as a client. About a year later, I am walking away with an order that protects my child’s rights. As a dad facing the brutal “what ifs” and horror stories that are not hard to find online, Miss Ferguson was honest and direct. What you can expect from her, at least from my experience, is consistency and a pursuit of both moral and legal truth. She showed patience, understanding, and guidance. She asked tough questions, gave tough answers, and raised tough concerns that I may not have been prepared for otherwise. I cannot recommend Miss Ferguson enough. I was in Hunt County jail and at my first hearing was released on a PR bond with the judge actually saying, "I cannot tell you anything other than you have a very good lawyer!" Only accusations made against me and she charged me for almost 10 hours of her time ($2700). She absolutely DID NOT spend 10 hours on my situation. There is not even that much information to go over. My situation ended up being accusations dropped for defending myself. No charges filed, no court dates. Everything was dropped. I HAD TO REACH OUT OVER & OVER and finally after 6 months she sent me the receipt for services and $300 back of the $3000 retainer fee. Shady as it gets ! Life lesson: NEVER TRUST A LAWYER ! Feedback13: Katherine is not only a bad attorney, but also a bad person. I hired her and paid her thousands of dollars. She refused to do the work, and upon asking, she would just say I have to charge you more even though she did not do anything. She stole my money flat out, and when asked to return the money or do the work, she stole the money, withdrew from the case, and as a result of her not filling any kind of paperwork, I lost my business and my damages are in the millions, and I will be suing her. She must have learned from the criminals she represents as she is the lowest for of life of humans and belong in jail.
