Contacted Kreig LLC Probate Houston attorney Kara Kellogg regarding my brother's estate, she looked into it and informed me that my brother's girlfriend, who had moved in with him, also added on the deed of his house. I sent her my brother's death certificate and the names of other relatives multiple times, but she claimed that she couldn't find them and asked for a list of all the relatives. However, two of my nieces did not cooperate in providing the information. When I informed Kara about this, she said that we could not proceed without their information. She later suggested that we drop the case altogether, but then she told us that my brother was not on the house deed. We ended up doing all the work ourselves, and she misled us about my brother being on the deed. Moreover, when we talked to her earlier, she had promised us a refund of the unused money if the matter didn't work out. But after we dropped the case, she claimed that she had never made such a promise and that the contract stated that there would be no refund unless it was demonstrated that the minimum fee was excessive under the circumstances."
