About Laura Sponaugle Photography I have been captivated by photography since childhood when I watched my grandfather capture the heart of the Ansel Adams. He was an amateur photographer who had an unwavering love for taking photographs and displayed the patience of a saint and a passion that radiated from him. He was my mentor, and he inspired my passion and admiration for photography. I followed my passion and graduated with a degree in photography from the University of Texas at Austin. My self -discovery journey while living and traveling in Spain and Mexico fueled my love for the art. My first wedding session in Napa Valley inspired me to grow my business. I relocated to Texas to be closer to my family and my newfound love for storytelling. For over a decade, I have been illustrating love stories and capturing families, lifestyle, and events with my lens.
