Founded in 1999, LOVING-CARE PET SITTING had not crossed my mind when I first considered starting my company in 1987. Pet sitting had always seemed out of reach. Still, I knew my deep animal love was an anchor to my ambitions. I had no money, which was a significant challenge. However, I was not about to let the cash franchise my ambition. Then I started taking dog grooming classes. Despite the full enjoyment I get from grooming these dogs, I could not get enough capital to start my business.
