Would not recommend this company. I would not recommend Weddings Unlimited for wedding photography, videography, or their additional services. While the photos and most of the final video were very good, the overall planning and coordination process was extremely difficult, and several significant issues with the services we purchased were either unresolved or only partially addressed. Final Products and Services Audio Guest Book: We purchased the audio guest book option and waited approximately three months, along with making several inquiries, before finally receiving the recordings. Of the 11 messages we received, four were from other weddings and were not from our guests. We confirmed with several of our guests that they had left messages, so it is clear that recordings from our wedding were missing. We repeatedly asked Weddings Unlimited to investigate what happened. Instead, we received the following response: “While the terms of our signed agreement do not require Weddings Unlimited to maintain ongoing correspondence regarding the event after completion of our contractual obligations, we are reviewing this matter as a courtesy based on the concerns you have raised. If our review identifies additional information that needs to be provided to you, we will reach out accordingly.” We found this response particularly concerning. We were not asking for anything beyond what we had already paid for—we were asking about missing and incorrectly provided recordings. Unfortunately, our subsequent inquiries have gone unanswered, and we still have no explanation for what happened to the missing messages. Extended Video: We paid an additional $900 for an extended wedding video. The approximately 54-minute video was, for the most part, very good. However, near the end, the images became stretched and distorted, and the final few minutes contained choppy and skipping footage. These issues should have been caught during a quality-control review before the video was delivered. The problems were eventually corrected after we brought them to the company's attention, but the fact that a final product containing these obvious issues was delivered in the first place was disappointing. Live Streaming: We also paid for live streaming of our ceremony specifically so the bride's parents, who were unable to attend the wedding, could watch the ceremony and first dance. We clearly communicated this reason to the team. Unfortunately, the camera was primarily pointed at the groom rather than the bride, meaning the bride's parents were unable to properly see her during the ceremony. The camera also repeatedly overheated, requiring members of the wedding party to hold fans toward it throughout the ceremony rather than being able to watch the ceremony themselves. Even more concerning, the live stream itself contains audio of Weddings Unlimited personnel trying to figure out how to operate the streaming equipment, including comments indicating that they had never used the system before or had not received instructions on how to use it. Because of these issues, the first dance and announcement of the couple were not streamed at all. Given the specific reason we purchased this service, this was especially disappointing. Photo Booth: We also purchased the photo booth option. We later learned from our wedding guests that the booth stopped working shortly after the reception began. As a result, we received only a small number of photos from the photo booth. Planning and Coordination The planning process was also far more difficult than it should have been. Our primary points of contact changed continuously, and the new persons did not appear to have a clear understanding of the wedding package we had purchased. We were also given conflicting information by different representatives. For example, our package was described as including “unlimited” photography and video coverage from the beginning of our wedding day through the end of the event. Our day began at approximately 9:30 a.m., when the bride and bridesmaids were scheduled to begin their activities, and the event ended around 11 p.m. During the planning process, however, we were told that 9:30 a.m. was far too early and that if we wanted the photographer and videographer there at that time, we would have to pay an additional $500 for each 15-minute period during which they were not actively occupied. We were also told that the word “unlimited” in the package name should not be interpreted as meaning unlimited support. We finally agreed to have the photographer and videographer arrived around 11:30am (they were there shortly after that); as a result, we ended up missing much of what we had hoped to capture that morning while the bridal party was getting ready. Having different representatives provide different interpretations of what was included in the package made the planning process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. Overall Experience To be fair, the photographs and most of the video we received were very good, and we appreciate the quality of the work that was done well. However, the quality of the photography and video does not outweigh the problems we experienced with the rest of the services and the planning process. We paid for an audio guest book and received incomplete and incorrect recordings with no meaningful explanation. We paid for live streaming and the intended viewers were unable to properly see the ceremony, while the first dance was not streamed at all. We paid for a photo booth that stopped working shortly after the reception began. We also received a final video containing obvious technical issues that should have been caught through quality control. Most importantly, when we attempted to get answers and resolution regarding these issues, communication became extremely frustrating, and our most recent inquiries have gone unanswered. For these reasons, I would not recommend Weddings Unlimited to couples considering them for their wedding. The photography and videography itself can be good, but the planning, coordination, service reliability, and post-event customer service left us extremely disappointed.
