Poor communication was an issue, and I had to chase them several times for updates. My documents were sent to opposing counsel without my concern and found myself in darkness on my case's progress. My final court date was pushed since my counter-proposal had not been sent to the opposing counsel despite numerous emails and calls. After the final court date, I've never received any feedback from the attorney, and I found the case resolution by checking court records. It's disappointing that my case resolution, including any agreements and custody orders, has never been communicated to me. I had even paid a retainer fee of $4,500, which means I expected better services. This experience has been traumatizing, and I wouldn't want anyone to experience such. I will be forced to find a new parental rights attorney to take me through a new trial and custody agreement hearing.
