E.F. Sewell makes parking cars in his Arlington Hardware Store. He also assembles Ford model Ts, then sells them. Woody Sewell, the son of E.F. Sewell, arrives in Odessa. He and Carl Sr. Sewell, the other son of E.F. Sewell, purchase the Odessa Ford House. However, in one day, the duo sells half of their inventory. This was the same inventory that was rotting since the end of WWII. Service and used car sales are what sustain the dealership during this time. The car model was the first new car produced in America after the WWII Auto business. Sewell, after expanding to Midland, purchased the Cadillac Buick GMC Store off Wall Street. Sewell adds the Cadillac brand to its list of vehicles. Sewell is currently the sole Cadillac dealer in Permian basic. Sewell also acquires the Odessa Cadillac Store. Sewell has announced four new ways it will serve West Texans. Sewell acquires the Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Store in Andrews. Sewell serves West Texans with all the 11 automotive brands now.
