She earned her magna cum laude Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. During her junior year, Dr. Moore was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She moved to Georgia after graduating MCG, where she graduated with honors and a 4.0 GPA. Dr. Moore was named University Medical Center's healthcare supplier of the year after completing an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at Texas Tech University. She was also chosen for 8 consecutive months as the resident of the Month. This clinical experience has helped her to become an excellent physician who serves her neighborhood. Dr. Moore has been active in the American Academy of Dermatology and other organizations throughout her career.
