She earned her magna cum laude Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. During her junior year, Dr. Moore was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She moved to Georgia after graduating MCG, where she graduated with honors and a 4.0 GPA.
