William Tausend

Billy Tausend, MD William Tausend, M.D. is a third-generation dermatologist. William’s father, Robert Tausend, M.D., and grandfather, Paul Tausend, M.D., practiced medicine in Pasadena, where William was born at Bayshore Hospital. William and his four siblings were raised in Clear Lake. William graduated summa cum laude in 2010 from Texas A&M University. In 2014, he earned his magnacum laude degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston’s School of Medicine. While in medical school, William was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honour society. William completed his dermatology internship and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2018. He is a member of the Texas Dermatological Society and the Texas Medical Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. William is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Football and Texas A&M Athletics, spending time with his family and playing golf, as well as his Bernese Mountain Dog, are all things Dr. Tausend enjoys.
