Itch, swell, dry, bruise, and light bruising. Use ice packs if you want to decrease the swelling and bruises. Aftercare Balm helps these areas feel less tight or scabbed. Your skin is too dark, and the appearance may be somewhat uneven and spotty. Fading of the darkness may take 3-7 days and the unevenness will go away once the swelling subsides. A scheduled follow-up touch-up appointment is required so we can address any imperfections. * Color change or losing color. The area will look brighter as it heals, and the color is not always so. It is normal. We have to wait 4 weeks before discussing any issues. * You might need a touch-up months or even years after the first touch-up. We recommend that you have a touch-up appointment 5-8 weeks after the first appointment. After the first touch-up, we recommend maintenance every 12-18 months to keep the color and shape. If the directions are not followed, it will ruin and cause infection or pigment.
