Attorney David is a very personable person. He doesn’t just rush anything and gets the facts. What really moved me is when he quoted me the Serenity prayer, that gave me hope in every aspect of my life. Thank you lots for everything! 6. Attorney David is a very personable person. Hard working and knowledgeable. 8. Hard working and knowledgeable. 9. Attorney Azad represented my son, and he was amazing. Mr. Azad negotiated very reasonable court-required actions, and he was very persuasive in the way he spoke to my son. When Mr. Azad learned that my son played basketball, he made a lot of basketball analogies that were very compelling to my son. He encouraged my son to make good decisions going forward in a way that made my son feel like he was in control of his own destiny - not like he was being preached to. Mr. Azad is a personable, effective lawyer. 10. Attorney Azad represented my son, and he was amazing. These guys are not the worst attorneys but they've fully embraced the mediocrity of what passes for a defense attorney in this justice system.95% of all convictions State and federal are from guilty pleas. This is not because police officers are 95% right on their arrests (you can ask any officer). This is not because prosecutors are 95% better than the defense attorneys (you can ask any attorney). This is because attorneys like these have surrendered the solemn duty placed upon them by the constitution to effectively defend their clients and have instead pursued a more lucrative career as "Plea-dealers".These attorneys have 2 Mission Objectives once you walk into their offices. Get paid and get the client to guilty-plea (whether guilty or not) so they can close off the case and move on to the next. These attorneys are as good as any car salesman. They will bamboozle you with everything you think you wanna hear. Like :--"We have been involved in over 300 cases" (not mentioning that 298 were guilty pleas and only been to trial twice)-"We think like the police or we know how the police think" (you want your defense attorney to think and act like a defense attorney. Police officers are notorious for shortcuts and shoddy work)If you walk into any criminal courtroom you will plainly overhear the prosecutor and the "defense attorney"(Plea-dealers) horse trade a human beings future with rarely a mention of the law or constitution. At the point that you consult these attorneys, you're more or less scared for your life, your future, your family. Ignorant to the law and statute in question.I was a deer in headlights, the prosecutor on the driver's seat and my supposed attorney on the passenger seat waiting for me to be creamed on the windshield so he can move on to the next.20 times I told these guys I did want to plead guilty and they came back 23 times saying I had to plead guilty till they wore me down. Not because the evidence was overwhelming, not because the case is complicated but because of Mission Objective 2 -get client to guilty-plea and move on.It is illegal for investigators to coerce suspects into incriminating themselves but they do it all the time because of ineffective attorneys like these. The police suspect you of robbing a liquor store but they can't prove it so they threaten to charge you with robbing a bank. One charge carries 5yrs and the other 20yrs. Your attorney is supposed to defend you from these unconstitutional acts but "Plea-dealers" will advise you to plead guilty to robbing the store to avoid the bank robbery charge doesn't matter if you're actually innocent or guilty. It's not as brutal as the phone book treatment used in the past but just as effective if not more so.Do not pick an attorney only because he's closer to your address (like I did). Do your research because your life, your future and family depend on getting effective counsel.Under your rights so you can know when you are about to lose them because you might be never able to get them back.14.
