I should have known better when I paid for a consultation and she was loudly smacking on her lunch throughout the call while being short with me. I made the mistake of initially hiring her on for my case. I’d hoped her rude behavior may have been a sign of her being a fighter, but I was wrong. She was largely unresponsive to any contact and was extremely unprofessional when she would actually respond. Thank goodness I realized my mistake after a few months and fired her. While I was at the next hearing with my new lawyer (and the one to fire Skinner), I had to laugh as I overheard another lawyer commenting that he had a client that just fired her as well.
