CommonWealth Coffeehouse & Bakery located at 118 Davis Court Alamo Heights, has been open since January 2015. However, we are excited to announce that it's available at four key locations in the city. The restaurant's founders had a dream to bring the French artisanal tradition for making pastries and bread right here in San Antonio. And, to pay homage to that dream, Vincent Lacoste was brought in from Bordeaux. Vincent Lacoste, a patissier with a twin brother, honors his family's tradition. The Lacoste family owns three bakeries in France. Vince's passion for baking bread and pastries was first kindled by his father and grandfather.
