ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

CommonWealth Coffeehouse & Bakery Hemisfair, founded in January 2015, is located at 118 Davis Court Alamo Heights. CommonWealth started its journey in this city and now has four locations. CommonWealth’s owners aimed to introduce the French artisanal tradition for making pastries and bread to San Antonio. Vincent Lacoste, one of the few bakers to round out the owner-partner trio, arrived in San Antonio from Bordeaux to fulfill the founders’ dream. In San Antonio, Vince Lacoste, who hails from a family of bakers in France, brings his father’s and grandfather’s baking knowledge to the forefront. The Lacostes have three bakeries in France, and Vince also has a twin brother who is a french baker. His baking journey has been shaped since he was a kid, where he frequently visited bakeries with his grandfather and helped him bake his bread. Back then, he learned the craft of baking, making him more passionate about bread and pastries than ever before. CommonWealth is dedicated to serving the local community by engaging with local artisans, small businesses, and non-profits. We share the owners’ passion for French cuisine and excellence and express this with a few of the most well-prepared culinary creations any of us has come across. Furthermore, our team’s commitment to local contact makes our coffee service unparalleled.
