Family-owned and operated, D. W. Brooks Funeral Home was founded in Gonzales in 1990 by Pastor Danny W. Brooks Sr. Brooks expanded the business and relocated it to San Antonio in 1995. The funeral home is a success story and a lucrative business. In 2014, Danny Brooks Sr., the oldest son of the founder, handed over the ownership to Danny Brooks Jr. He has overseen the renovation of the existing funeral home and is currently leading the planning of a new location at the Northeast corner of San Antonio with his younger brother Danzel.
