About Becky R. Davenport (Ph.D.), LMFT–S In 2010, Becky R. Davenport, Ph.D., LMFT–S, founded ICFE. For a decade, she had supervised clinical and education professionals. Specialized therapy for families and couples was a strong need in San Antonio, so Dr. Davenport started the ICFE. Relationships are fundamental to every person's life. Strong relationships give us a sense of security, confidence, and strength. If a significant relationship suffers, it can lead to profound sadness and disconnection, affecting all areas of a person's life, sometimes forever. Our mission is to provide quality, relationship-focused therapy services to help clients address their problems and develop secure relationships that provide resilience, positive self-esteem, and the ability to continue the changes made in therapy, not just in therapy but in their daily lives.
